I was born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and received my B.A. in communications from DePaul University. After working as a publicist in the Chicago area, I decided to pursue a career in guitar making and got a job for a Boston-based company.
Within days of moving from Illinois to Lowell, we had a snowstorm. I hadn’t bought a shovel yet, so I asked to borrow my neighbor’s. Their friend Sara was there visiting. Sara and I have now been married for almost 15 years!
We started our family in 2012 and looked for a place to move to from our townhome in Lowell. Ideally, we wanted to go to a place that was less of a city, had more open space and had a great school system. So we ended up buying the house in Tewksbury that Sara grew up in. We’ve lived there with our two daughters ever since, and Sara’s parents live on the property in an accessory dwelling unit.

I currently work for A.I.M. Mutual Insurance as a senior claim specialist, handling workers’ compensation claims across Massachusetts and Connecticut. On a day-to-day basis, I am helping injured workers and processing claims in an efficient and cost-effective manner for our insured employers.
I joined the board of the first Center Elementary School Parent Advisory Council in 2022 and served as co-chair and secretary. I’ve also been an active volunteer at the Heath Brook, Trahan and Ryan elementary schools, and I’m a member of VFW Auxiliary 8164.
I’ve been a guitar player for 30-plus years, and I am a trained guitar luthier building and working on guitars and basses. I generally like to build and make things.
